Dr. Jessica Murrell is a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and teaching assistant while attending U of H optometry school. Dr. Murrell has received externship training at Herman Memorial hospital in the managing of retinal pathology, glaucoma and cataracts. She also received co-management experience in LASIK and cataract surgery.

Her other practice interests are contact lens fitting and pediatric care. Dr. Murrell is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and also the Harris County Optometric Society. Dr. Murrell resides in The Woodlands and enjoys spending her time with her husband and young son. She also enjoys traveling, exercising, and balancing a healthy lifestyle.
